Randy Culpepper – UTEP’s Star Performer
Randy Culpepper is a basketball player from the United States of America, who plays for the University of Texas El Paso Miners. Culpepper starts each and every game as a game but he is a very versatile and can play as center as well power forward as he has done for his college team on many occasions when there is an injury crisis in the team or suspension and such other circumstances.
Randy Culpepper ranks in the Top 15 in the all time scoring charts in Conference USA and his biggest accolade till date was achieved when Conference USA name him the Player of the Year in 2009, which was personally his greatest ever season for the team.
The first season that he started for the team, he made his way into the Man of the Year list as named by NCAA in sixth position. In his four years in college so far, Randy Culpepper has steadily increased his scoring average which was only 12 points per game in his first, 15 in his second, 17 in his third and 19 in his senior campaign.
Culpepper has been a brilliant player for the UTEP Miners and is on the verge of a breakthrough into the NBA.
