Bobby Nichols

Bobby Nichols was a world class professional golfer who was born in April 14th 1936. He played for the PGA and was a very renowned golfer. His professional career came to an abrupt halt since he met with an accident while driving at a very high speed. He suffered major injuries in his spine and vertebrate injuries and his pelvis was shattered, he was majorly paralysed and spent 6 months in the hospital. Then he underwent many months of rehabilitation and recuperation and finally he surprised the world with a great comeback into the game. Bobby Nichols also received many awards in his career including a few lifetime achievement awards for his amazing comeback.

Bobby Nichols went to school in Louisville Kentucky and also went to the St. Xaviers College. He also represented his college at the university levels and Bobby Nichols is also included in the Hall of Fame in PGA and hence his name is etched in the pages of golfing History. Bobby Nichols worked later in his life for the promotion of the game in other parts and also worked as golf analyst and helped improve the condition of the game. Bobby Nichols will always be remembered for his dedication towards the game and his effort.
