Andruw Rudolf Jones was born on the April 23 of the year 1977 in the state of Texas of United States of America. He is a Major League Baseball (which is popularly known as MLS) right fielder for the New York Yankees, one of the most famous baseball teams in the world. During his initial two years spell with the Atlanta Braves team, Andruw Jones mainly appeared as a right fielder in the games and he was not that much effective.

However, from 1998 until 2009, Andruw Jones played almost exclusively in center field where he turned out to be very effective. Aside from the 1996 season, when Andruw Jones appeared in merely 32 games after being called up from the minor league, Andruw Jones appeared in as many as 150 or more games each year of his career up to the year2008, when he appeared in only 75 games.

Andruw Jones has always been noted as a defensive specialist, and he won the Rawlings Gold Glove Award for outstanding outfielders every year from 1998 to 2007.Jones has also appeared in the five All-Star Games, and he won both the Hank Aaron Award and a Silver Slugger Award for outfielders in 2005. In 2002, he was the inaugural National League All-Star Final Vote winner.American Football
