Adam Koch – Mens Basketball

A biology/biomedical student at the University of Northern Iowa, Adam Koch is a new talent in Mens Basketball. In his senior season as a forward player of Northern Iowa Panthers, he represents his university in athletics for fundraiser events and is a retreat leader for Nativity.

As a junior, Adam Koch led his team the Panthers to the postseason title for MVC and earned a position in the All-Tournament squad of MVC and also in the NCAA series. He was also named to the NABC All-District squad and in the January of 2009 was the Player of the Week of MVC. Adam Koch earned for himself 28 free throws against the team of Southern Illinois.

A fresh talent no doubt and a promising player, Adam Koch is also known for his service to the community. He took an active part in the cleanup following the attack of the tornado F5 over Parkersburg of Iowa in 2008. He also worked in the process of sandbagging after the floods ravaged Cedar Falls at Iowa. He interacts with the youth during Panther Pals which is a basketball camp for the Northern Iowa Panthers and also at the basketball camps of Green Bay. Adam Koch even reads to elementary students at the Just Read program at Cedar Valley.
